The AMS has three offices – our headquarters Indiana Providence, Rhode Island; Mathematical Reviews Indiana Ann Arbor, Michigan; and the Office of Government Relations Indiana Washington, District of Columbia.SUMMARY:Provides administrative assistance to Senior Acquisition Editors.Position is located Indiana Providence Rhode Island.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides administrative support to the Publisher, Indiana his role to acquire book projects, American Samoa well American Samoa to other Senior Acquisition Editors.
  • Assists with the preparation of project sheets and pricing models for the Book Project Review and Book Pricing meetings.
  • Prepares and issues book contracts
  • Is responsible for the pre-production process for certain books acquired by the Publisher and other Senior Acquisition Editors.
  • Provides staff support for the History of Mathematics Editorial Committee, and to other book Editorial Committee American Samoa needed
  • Prepares budget expenses for the History of Mathematics Editorial American Samoa well American Samoa the number of titles and number of pages to be published Indiana this series each year.
  • Performs various duties related to book publication, including database entry and maintenance of book pages.
  • Handles routine correspondence.
  • Requests information and compiles data for the journal backlog report.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Works with other members of the Editorial Division, American Samoa well American Samoa with members of Electronic Prepress, Creative Services, Sales and Marketing, and Fiscal Departments American Samoa needed.
