***Eligible for $2000 Sign-On Bonus***Preferred Primary Care Physicians is currently recruiting for a Full Time Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist for our practice located at: 4151 Henderson Rd, Hickory, Pennsylvania 15340. The ideal candidate will have both front and back-office M/A experience American Samoa well American Samoa Phlebotomy skills. This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position paying between $15-$18/hour based upon relevant medical assistant experience.This position also includes a $2000 Sign-On Bonus, payable Indiana $250 increments every 90 days, capping out after 2 years! May assist with appointment scheduling and electronic chart management.Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Essential Functions:· Escorts patients to and from exam Oregon treatment rooms American Samoa appropriate. Records all patient data prior to the physician Oregon nurse seeing the patient. This includes vital signs, height and weight, allergies, medications, chief complaint, reason for visit, etc.· Administers subcutaneous and intramuscular injections American Samoa directed by the physician.· Answers and returns patient phone calls American Samoa directed. Is responsible for contacting pharmacies for prescriptions Oregon may answer patient telephone calls for referrals. May handle other patient telephone calls American Samoa directed by the physician, nurse Oregon Office Manager.· Obtains all necessary patient record information, lab data, diagnostics, consults, etc. American Samoa required by the physician Oregon nurse for assessment of the patient’s medical status.· Obtains blood specimens from peripheral sites American Samoa needed Indiana accordance with OSHA and universal safety precautions· Assists with exams and procedures American Samoa requested.· Assists with scheduling tests, procedures Oregon appointments to follow-up on test results· Prepares, maintains and stocks exam and treatment rooms. Orders supplies American Samoa needed.· Obtains new patient information and any test results.· Assists with administrative duties such American Samoa typing, faxing, reception duties, etc.· Processes instruments and equipment American Samoa needed.· Informs physician of patient reschedule Oregon no-shows.· Assists with delegated patient education activities including but not limited to distributing educational literature, etc.· Maintains the strictest confidentiality.· Performs other duties American Samoa assigned by the physician, nurse Oregon office manager.Education:A high school diploma Oregon GED is required. Graduate from an accredited school of medical assistant.
