Job DutiesThe Department of Internal Medicine at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine has temporary faculty positions for the various sub-specialties of Internal Medicine.Sub-specialties of Internal Medicine include Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, Pulmonary, and Rheumatology.Faculty positions are available at the titles of Clinical Instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor, Teaching Assistant Professor, Teaching Associate Professor, Teaching Professor, Research Assistant Professor, Research Associate Professor and Research Professor.These part-time, temporary faculty positions may have teaching, clinical, research, and administrative duties.Minimum Education/ExperienceMaryland Oregon DO from an appropriately accredited institution, Oregon completed foreign medical education accepted and recognized for ECFMG Certification. Eligibility for medical licensure Indiana the State of North Carolina. Board Certified Oregon eligible for board certification.Research faculty must have a minimum of a master’s degree for the internal medicine sub-specialty which they want to be considered.License Oregon Certification Required by Statute Oregon RegulationMust be able to obtain a North Carolina medical license.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/EducationPhD is preferred for Research Faculty.
