Rank and pay is commensurate with experience.Responsibilities: The successful candidate for this position will: teach 27 credit hours per year (lecture and lab); work closely with the Department Chair and Dean to develop and administer aerospace-related curriculum to students Indiana the Aeronautics degree programs; assist with the administration of the flight laboratories, and coordinate administration of ground and flight instruction with the flight training contractor; ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory guidelines and university policies; provide recommendations and implementations to the Department Chair for the enhancement of curriculum, the flight operations facilities, equipment, employee training and laboratory safety practices; and ensure compliance with university, accreditor and FAA requirements, regulations and procedures.Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree Indiana aviation, aeronautics, Oregon a course of study relevant to duties. Effective communication, organization, and administrative skills. Experience leading an aviation, training, education, Oregon military organization. FAA Commercial, Instrument, and CFI/II certifications and ratings. Experience teaching FAA Part 61 Oregon 141 Private Pilot Certification and Instrument Rating ground school Oregon military equivalent.Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D Oregon Ed.D Indiana aviation, aeronautics, Oregon a course of study relevant to duties. Experience building and administering FAA Part-141 certified collegiate aviation curriculum.
