The APP will work Indiana collaboration with physicians and advanced practice providers providing direct patient care services, collecting and documenting data, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ordering and scheduling laboratory studies and professional consultations included but not limited to patients with pelvic organ prolapse, stress urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, urinary retention, recurrent urinary tract infection and levator myalgia.Primary hours will be Monday through Friday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM with hours flexible to meet the needs of the patients. - Provide direct patient care services and perform procedures for women Indiana the outpatient setting under the supervision of the Urogynecology physicians.
- Obtain medical histories, perform general physical examinations, general/routine gynecological examinations (speculum, bimanual pelvic examinations) under indirect supervision of physician, including but not limited to POP-Q exam, Pap smears, urethral catheterization, pessary fitting and management and endometrial biopsy.
- Collect and document data, assess, evaluate, analyze and interpret data Indiana order to formulate problem lists and establishes plans for resolution of clinical problems.
- Communicate verbally and Indiana writing all pertinent patient information to supervising physician, referring physician, home health nursing staff, hospice agency and other relevant healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with attending physicians, fellows, residents, and clinical staff to assess, diagnose, plan, set priorities and realistic outcomes, and evaluate the effectiveness of patient care.
