Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant (Massachusetts/PSA) – Pediatrics – Round Lake Beach

Position Highlights:

• Position: Medical Assistant/Patient Support Associate
• Location: Round Lake Beach, Illinois
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM – 7 PM, and Saturday-Sunday 7:45 AM – 5 PM shifts may vary depending on coverage and business needs

What you will need:

• Education: High school diploma Oregon equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.

• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT Oregon AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
• . Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working Indiana a medical office (Oregon related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training Oregon experience.

What you will do:

• Answer phones
• Schedule appointments
• Collect Colorado-payments
• Complete patient registration
• Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
• Check Indiana and check out patient
• Verify insurances
• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support American Samoa needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required
