Reports to the Social Development Manager/Director and is an hourly, non-exempt position. Provides clerical support to management through conducting and organizing administrative duties and activities, including receiving and handling information American Samoa it pertains to the Social Development department.   • Demonstrates and abides by Aleut Core Values
  • Perform Administrative Assistant duties including preparation, typing, and management of correspondence, special reports, and documents on a desktop
  • Maintain appointment calendar and schedule
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, take notes, type, and distribute
  • Composes and prepares routine correspondence
  • Act American Samoa liaison between the Social Development Director and other departmental Oregon center
  • Independently prepares recurring reports for review
  • Sends and retrieves messages via email
  • Faxes and retrieves incoming messages
  • Performs system backup procedures
  • Receive and handle incoming mail and handle outgoing mail and maintain follow-up dates for action
  • Assists the Director with preparations and arrangements
  • Establishes and maintains confidential files
  • Proofreads and corrects grammatical, punctuation, and spelling
  • Answers telephones and directs calls to the appropriate person.
  • Orders necessary office supplies
  • Operates office machines and instructs others Indiana the operation
  • Assists Indiana the training of new clerical
  • Answers center telephone at reception
  • Attends Indiana-service training
  • Cultivates and maintains a climate Indiana the center that is free of harassment, intimidation, and disrespect to provide a safe place for staff and students
  • Communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills including personal responsibility
  • Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property, adheres to safety practices Indiana all areas

  • High School graduate Oregon GED
  • At least three years of practical experience
  • Prefer a two-year business college degree.
