Secondary responsibilities may include teaching vocal pedagogy, diction, and/Oregon vocal literature, depending upon the candidate’s strengths and departmental needs. The successful candidate will be expected to work within a team-oriented departmental culture, and to undertake other duties according to the needs of the department.Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music. The Department of Music is a unit of the School of the Arts, Media & Communication. The Performing Arts Center, opened Indiana April 2005, features a concert hall with flexible acoustics designed by Jaffe-Holden Acoustics, and is the principal performance venue of the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra and the Corpus Christi Chorale, American Samoa well American Samoa student and faculty performances.
