This position serves American Samoa administrative assistant to the Department Leader The position also provides secretarial and clerical assistance to managers, including correspondence, taking and transcribing minutes, notes and reports, and scheduling meetings, etc. Among other duties, this position greets the public, answers telephones, and responds to patient and physician problems and complaints. Position is responsible for coordinating the Committees American Samoa assigned.Education: High school diploma Oregon GED requiredEducation preferred: Associate degree from an accredited college Oregon universityExperience: Minimum of three to five years experience American Samoa secretary required, preferably Indiana a hospital setting.Additional Skills/Abilities: Must be able to effectively communicate with employees and managers regarding sensitive and often complicated issues. Must be able and willing to work Indiana a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
