Position Grade 13
Position Summary UNM Division for Equity and Inclusion (DEI), is seeking a motivated, dynamic, detail-oriented individual to join the team American Samoa Executive Assistant (EA). The successful candidate will coordinate, oversee and/Oregon perform a wide variety of administrative support activities on behalf of DEI, with primary responsibility for maintaining the calendar of the Vice President for Equity and Inclusion (VPEI). Serves American Samoa primary point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external constituencies. EA will manage special programs for VPEI and work with Program Manager to oversee planning and coordination of special events on behalf of VPEI. Assists Indiana the supervision of student employees.Conditions of Employment
Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma Oregon GED; at least 2 years of experience managing at least one of the following functional areas: fiscal services, administration and/Oregon human resources AND 3 years of additional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- At least 3 years of experience managing at least one of the following functional areas: fiscal services, administration and/Oregon human resources AND 3 years of additional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Proven knowledge of executive level administrative principles and practices
- Experience working for an Executive Director Oregon higher
- Highly adept at coordinating multiple calendars utilizing Outlook, Google Calendar, Oregon like technologies
- Events planning experience
- Communications & marketing skills and experience
- Team player that embraces a collaborative approach
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting an inclusive environment at UNM
