• Teach assigned nursing courses.
• Supervise student clinical experiences.

• Complete all administrative aspects of courses taught.
• Maintain office hours American Samoa required by academic teaching load, but not less than six hours per week.
• Advise students throughout their program of studies American Samoa appropriate.

Required Qualification/Experience

• Education – Doctorate Indiana Nursing Oregon doctorate equivalent Indiana a related field from an accredited university. (ABDs will be considered if completed by the beginning of the teaching semester)
• Demonstrated leadership and scholarship Indiana nursing education
• Evidence of teaching mastery Indiana nursing education

• Current unencumbered license to practice American Samoa a registered nurse Indiana the state of Texas. For those who are advanced practice nurses, maintain and meet all certification requirements for their specialty

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

• Teaching experience Indiana a undergraduate/graduate nursing program
• Current performance Indiana the scholarship of nursing (i.e. publications, grants)
• Eligibility for tenure track and for rank at the Assistant Oregon Associate Professor level at the time of hire
• Knowledge and/Oregon experience with nursing accreditation agencies (e.g. ACEN and CCNE) and the Texas Board of Nursing
• Evidence of successful teaching and knowledge of learning principles for adult education, including nursing curriculum development, administration, and evaluation
• Experience and knowledge of online and/Oregon hybrid education delivery methods, principles, and techniques
