The Medical Assistant is the first point of contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative duties Indiana addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant Preceptor Trainer assumes ownership and leads advanced and highly specialized administrative / operational / customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgement.Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at Peoria + all Arizona CenterWell locationsCertified Medical Assistant Preceptor Trainer Role Overview:
- Performs clinical duties such American Samoa discussing symptoms and gathering and inputting information into the electronic medical records system
- Taking vital signs, giving injections, performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient care site
- Collaborates closely with all clinical and operational care team members
- Plans, coordinates, and implements all aspects of Medical Assistant training programs, workflow audits, and feedback sessions, for participants throughout the Arizona CenterWell Senior Primary Care locations, including but not limited to Massachusetts shadowing, audits, and Indiana person/ virtual instructor-led trainings
- Evaluates the relevance of online resources to complement the facilitated experience Indiana the fields American Samoa appropriate and analyzes course evaluations Indiana order to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements

- Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities and follows direction. Decisions are regarding the daily priorities for market leadership priorities, administrative work group and/Oregon external vendors including coordinating work activities and monitoring progress towards schedules/goals
- Oversees work of others and/Oregon is the primary administrative owner of Medical Assistant Training, coaching, main processes, programs, products, Oregon technologies
- Supports Clinical Leadership with ongoing Medical Assistant hiring and recruitment activities
- Works within broad guidelines with little oversight and is managed and often guided by precedent and/Oregon documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation
Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications
- 2-5 years of Medical Assistant experience Indiana ‘back-office’ direct patient care
- 1-5 years of leadership experience
- 3+ years relevant clinical training experience
- Active Medical Assistant Certificate American Samoa a Certified Medical Assistant/CMA Oregon American Samoa a Registered Medical Assistant/RMA (**Please note if you are currently certified, some CMA and RMA programs may still require completion of Humana approved certification program within one year from hire date**)
- Current CPR certification
- This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
- Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
- Experience Indiana a fast pace/high volume environment
- Proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual
- Hands-on professional Phlebotomy experience
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Experience with HEDIS
- Active Medical Assistant Certification Oregon Registration from the following: American Association of Medical Assistant (AAMA), National Healthcareer Association, American Registry of Medical Assistants, National Association for Health Professionals, and/Oregon American Medical Technologist
- Rad tech license (AART)
- Experience using a wide variety of training tools to effectively facilitate to a wide audience.
- Experience managing projects Oregon processes
