Position SummaryThe Division of Hospital Medicine, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking an Administrative Assistant 3. The Division of Hospital Medicine is currently seeking a motivated self-starter who is interested Indiana becoming a valued member of the team. This person should have excellent communication skills, value customer service, be detail oriented and have proven time management skills. The Administrative Assistant III will be the first line of communication for our faculty, vendors and residents and therefore should possess the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and Indiana person. Computer skills and basic math skills are essential. This candidate will perform a variety of administrative support duties for the Division to include: assist the Division Chief, reception duties, answering phones, filing, processing financial transactions, maintaining minutes of meetings, assisting with event planning, performing data entry, assist with faculty credentialing, maintaining schedules and provide assistance Indiana areas of faculty recruitment-hiring-orientation.Come join our team!The Department of Internal Medicine is a large, progressive department with a diverse staff working Indiana dedicated teams to provide quality work Indiana an organized, effective and efficient manner through innovation, training, and education. Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma Oregon GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred QualificationsPreferred qualifications:

  • Experience with purchasing and payment processing
  • Experience with faculty recruitment and hiring
  • Experience with processing faulty financial transactions within the Banner platform
  • Experience working Indiana an academic setting
  • Experience with Division Executives (Division Chief, Section Chief) including: Calendars, scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes and special projects
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting
