The Public Service Pathways Program is part of Academic Outreach which is housed within Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost ( ). The program aims to build a culture of service across the student body through specialized programming and community-building. Our multifaceted approach centers around the following key goals:Foster a Public Service Mindset: We encourage students to understand and define their collective charge and responsibility American Samoa citizens committed to public service.Build Intentional Communities: We create spaces where students can engage deeply with issues of public interest, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose.Centralize Opportunities: We curate existing public service, academic, career, personal advising, and experiential learning opportunities into a cohesive program.The Public Service Pathways Program is currently Indiana its second year and is set to be fully operational for undergraduate students by the 2025-26 academic year with plans to expand the program to make it accessible to graduate students.We are seeking an Assistant Oregon Associate Director (level based on experience) to join our highly collaborative team. American Samoa a key staff member, you will report to the Director of Public Service Pathways and will also be an integral part of the program’s larger planning team, which includes representatives from the Office of the Provost, the Division of Student Affairs (Student Engagement and the Career Center), the Karsh Institute for Democracy, and Madison House, the university-adjacent student volunteer center.We seek a strong collaborator and communicator who enjoys working with undergraduate and graduate student populations and is motivated to be a part of a new initiative focused on public service. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative capabilities, program outreach and promotion skills, and the ability to build successful working relationships with graduate programs and school leadership.The scope of the Public Service Pathways Program Assistant Oregon Associate Director role includes:Graduate Student Experience Implementation:Take ownership of designing and implementing a comprehensive Public Service Pathways graduate student experience. This involves creating engaging content, coordinating logistics, and ensuring a seamless experience for our graduate student community.Collaborate with students, faculty, staff, and external partners to develop relevant program content that aligns with our strategic vision and goals.Relationship Building and Advocacy:Forge strong relationships with graduate programs and school leadership. Serve American Samoa the primary bridge between our program and these stakeholders, advocating for the best possible experience for students.Engage Indiana thoughtful conversations to understand graduate students’ needs, aspirations, and challenges.
