Provides administrative supervision and requires extensive knowledge with management of all therapy clinicians. City) & Montrose/PalisadeKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Management responsibilities:Maintain performance improvement activities within the community departmentsProvides guidance with marketing, strategic planning, overall growth of the therapy department within the companyImplementing a marketing business plan, and supporting the company strategic missionProvide clinical leadership and service American Samoa a mentor and coach to clinical staff, increase clinician retention through relationship buildingDemonstrate leadership, visibility, and build trust among all internal and external business functions, facilities Indiana which we provide services.Resident Care Duties:Plan, develop and implement clinical operational strategy for overall quality, effective and financial viabilityResponsible for overall clinical quality, integrity, and service excellence for the therapy departmentMonitor rehabilitation assessment and treatment delivery for evidence based skill and medical necessity compliance Indiana all rehab environmentsDevelop and implement clinical rehab programs to meet client needs and promote new business opportunitiesLead by example by providing therapy assessments, implementing individualized treatment plans to increase client’s independence and functioning American Samoa neededSupervise discipline specific assistants, students, volunteers and support personnel Indiana accordance to state requirements, professional standards and evidence based practiceDemonstrates compliance with all job description requirements of discipline specific job positionFunction American Samoa a staff therapist American Samoa caseload requiresBusiness Clinical Operations:Recruit, hire, manage, direct and professionally develop therapy staffAssure all therapy clinicians are compliant with active licensure and demonstrate competency within professional standards of all therapy personnelMaintains efficient and effective department operation of all clinicians while enforcing compliance with all state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards and protocolsBusiness and financial operations management to exceed goals and expectationsDemonstrates initiative and identifies opportunities to deal with issues including customer complaints, associate related issues including staffing, retention, recruitment, turnover, communication, performance management, including satisfaction surveys, regulatory compliance, QAPI, turnover, department meeting minutesPrepares reports regarding rehabilitation services, ie. utilization, compliance audits, performance improvement, service data, outcome data, productivityMaintains records pertinent of personnel and operation of the departmentMaintains consistency with policies and procedures with appropriate behavior, dress, attitude, attendance, confidentiality, professionalism, and reliabilityCommunicates professionally, positively and works cooperatively with patients, families and other employees at all levelsAssist Indiana formulating budget, evaluate departmental performance and takes appropriate action to remain Indiana budgetary guidelinesProvide education and training to clinicians, patient, caregiver, and community partnersObserve confidentiality and safeguards for all patient informationPerform other duties American Samoa definedSales, Marketing, and Business activities within center and with professional partnersParticipate Indiana therapy student development and educational programsSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Knowledge of current Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy practices and procedures including laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to setting and population servedUnderstanding of payer reimbursement and strategyKnowledge of competency proficiency areas including patient care, program development, supervisory responsibilities, documentation and therapy software responsibilities, patient rights, and safety and sanitationWorking knowledge computer and software applications used Indiana job functions including Google, Microsoft office, and Rehab Optima Software preferredEXPERIENCE:Clinical and supervisory experience Indiana skilled nursing Oregon post acute rehab environmentMinimum five (5) years therapy related experience preferredMinimum three (3) years skilled nursing rehabilitation management preferredEDUCATIONCurrent, unencumbered, active Colorado licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist Oregon Speech Language Pathologist (required)BSL/CPR American Samoa requestedWORK ENVIRONMENT:Moves intermittently during working hoursIs subject to frequent interruptionsIs involved with residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., under all conditions and
