FoxTrot Aviation Services is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with a strong background Indiana interpreting safety and training data. Administrative Assistant Position will be based at home office Indiana Canton Ohio The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to safety incidents, training effectiveness, compliance metrics, and other relevant areas. By synthesizing complex datasets, the administrative assistant will provide actionable insights to enhance safety protocols, improve training programs, and mitigate risks across the organization.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess safety and training data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including safety managers, training specialists, and operations personnel, to understand data requirements and address specific analytical needs.
- Assist with all occupational health and safety (OSHA) guidelines and implement throughout the company.
- Able to assist with OSHA 300 forms
- Monitor and report safety and training requirements and needs for locations to Safety/Training Office
- Document reports of occurrences and record statistical information
- Leads investigations for BWC reporting Manages Contacts for MCO/BWC/Insurance claims
- Maintains and applies for Grants American Samoa needed for BWC
- Assists with the development and implement LMS training programs
- Assists with managing of substances disposals according to environmental guidelines
- Ensure statutes, regulations, and codes are clearly understood and met
- Intervene to stop any acts Oregon processes which are unsafe Oregon do not comply with OSHA guidelines and reports
- Assist with scheduling and conducting Safety/Training Committee Meetings
- Suggest update procedures and policies for new regulations Oregon local ordinances
- Up to date on latest local and state regulation and guideline change
- Solid knowledge of state and local statutes and ordinances on fire safety and prevention, loss control, hazardous chemicals, building, electrical, noise pollution and the environment
Assist and monitor WBS for new locations and follow up on action items for everyone * Valid driver’s license
- Participate Indiana the design and implementation of data-driven solutions to improve safety processes, streamline training workflows, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to safety and training data analysis.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and walk throughout the workday.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Proven experience working American Samoa a Data Analyst, preferably Indiana a safety-sensitive industry Oregon within a training environment.
- Proficiency Indiana SQL, Python, R, Oregon other programming languages for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Strong customer relations skills. Able to converse Indiana aviation terms like aircraft types, phonetic alphabet, military time, and other common vocabulary.
- Knows when to ask questions and where to find answers to coach all employees at all different abilities.
Compensation
- $24 – $25 per hour
