- Daily reconciliation and verification of credit card, campus group and Tiger Buck payments.
- Verify credit card transactions with M & T bank.
- Prepare documents for journal entries, chargeback, and other financial transactions for Student Health Center and RIT Ambulance.
- Reconcile departmental credit cards and prepare statements for Operations Specialist to review.
- Manage outstanding collections from students.
- Manage invoices and payment to vendors.
- Verify monthly RITA meal cards receipt forms with RIT Dining Services transaction report.
- Procure quotes for equipment and services American Samoa requested.
- Perform yearly physical inventory of assets.
- Prepare Monthly and Quarterly finance reports (expense, collections, and inventory) for Operations Specialist and Medical Director to review.
- Research and report any financial and operational concerns with attention to budget reconciliation, projections and forecasting.
- Make recommendations for changes to documented procedures and update American Samoa needed.
Operations Support:
- Order office supplies for SHC and RITA
- Oversee project requests for SHC and RITA.
- Facilities, Information & Communications systems (FMS/ITS/Avaya) liaison.
- Implementing the onboarding and departure workflow
- Manage office key inventory.
- Manage EMS system for SHC conference room.
Administrative Support for Management Team and Front Desk:
- Maintain competency Indiana check-Indiana and check-out procedures.

The Senior Staff Assistant is an integral part of the Health Center team ensuring quality of care for our RIT students. Reporting to the Operations Specialist, this position is responsible for performing finance and operations functions within the Student Health Center (SHC) and RIT Ambulance (RITA). The Senior Staff Assistant will need to manage financial and administrative projects and processes with attention to continuous quality improvement.
