Position Summary Assessment & Learning, a division of Undergraduate Medical Education (UME), is looking to hire a talented individual for our Administrative Assistant 2 position. We are looking for someone who likes to interact with a diverse range of people, including students, staff, and faculty, cares about accuracy and quality, has great organizational skills, thinks creative problem-solving is fun, and enjoys a challenge and working American Samoa a member of a well-functioning team.Primary duties/responsibilities for this position include:
- Obtaining a P-Card to make purchases for the department
- Processing travel and expense reimbursements for faculty, staff, and students
- Assisting with other projects American Samoa determined by the needs of the department’s management
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of front desk duties to assure that customer needs of students, faculty and staff are met Indiana an effective, timely and cordial manner

Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma Oregon GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications •Experience Indiana scheduling and coordinating
meetings
- Experience with financial and purchasing systems including Banner Finance,
Banner journal entries, Chrome River (PCard) travel reimbursements and
purchases, and Banner time entry.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient with
Indiana-person, electronic, and phone-based customer service
- Team player with the ability to also be resourceful and work effectively
and independently
- Experience working with confidential information
- Experience with databases
- Experience administering performance assessments for medical
studentsProficiency with:

Additional Requirements Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, occasional Saturdays and/Oregon evening work may be required, depending on department needs.
