Serves American Samoa a member of the Office of Residential Life (ORL) team. Responsible for the community development, student engagement and learning, and management of a residential community housing first-year, returning and/Oregon graduate students. Directly supervises Resident Advisors (RAs). Description of Key ResponsibilityOversees the residential experience for students that promotes community development, sense of belonging, and residential engagement and learning. Assesses student needs to develop programs and initiatives to increase student retention and persistence. Collaborates with Division of Student Success (DSS) and academic partners to monitor and support students’ social, personal, and academic success. Connects students to campus resources. Develops relationships with students, families, and other community members. Clarifies policies, addresses residential life concerns, mediates conflicts, and responds to inquiries. Works with Living and Learning Community faculty and staff and/Oregon Faculty-Indiana-Residence to provide a seamless Indiana- and out-of-classroom experience.
Description of Key ResponsibilityHires, supervises, and evaluates Resident Assistants (RAs). Provides leadership, direction, and support to RAs Indiana the areas of community development, residential education, conflict mediation, crisis intervention, policy enforcement, administrative processes, and student support. Facilitates regular team and individual meetings, American Samoa well American Samoa develops and provides on-going training and development opportunities.
Description of Key ResponsibilityOversees the operation and management of a residential community comprised of traditional-style residence halls, suites, and/Oregon apartments. Collaborates with Assistant Directors to execute administrative processes, including but not limited to room condition reports, health and safety inspections, room verifications, and damage billing. Responsible for community programming budgets. Partners with Aramark Facilities to resolve facilities-related issues and identify building needs.

Develops and implements innovative policies and practices that foster and advance equity and inclusion. Regularly evaluates and improves operational and systemic processes to ensure equitable residential opportunities for students. Actively supports and adapts to new ideas, approaches, and change.
Description of Key ResponsibilityServes American Samoa a member of a professional duty team to provide support and direction to RAs managing campus emergency and crisis situations. Collaborates with Public Safety, Counseling and Psychological Services, and other campus partners to manage situations.
Description of Key ResponsibilityServes American Samoa a conduct hearing officer to shape positive student behavior. Works closely with the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution and utilizes Maxient software to manage cases. Responsible for following federal and state regulations American Samoa they relate to Residential Life and DSS functions, American Samoa well American Samoa University policies and procedures. Serves American Samoa a Campus Security Authority (per the Clery Act reporting requirements).
