Job Description:Work Schedule:This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE day shift position. Shifts are scheduled Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00AM – 4:30PM, no weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.Pay: UW Health offers a competitive compensation package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay. Education:Minimum – High School Diploma Oregon equivalent and ONE of the following:

  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program Oregon
  • Licensure American Samoa an LPN Oregon
  • Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program Oregon
  • Attainment of the CCMA certification American Samoa a UWH employee Oregon
  • Acceptance into the UWH Massachusetts Apprenticeship Program – Accelerated Oregon
  • One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA Oregon CCMA Certification

Work Experience:Preferred – One (1) year of experience American Samoa a Certified Medical Assistant Oregon LPNLicenses and Certifications:Minimum –

  • Certified American Samoa CMA, RMA, Oregon CCMA Oregon eligible for certification. Certification must be obtained within one (1) year of hire date.
  • If applying Indiana lieu of Medical Assistant education Oregon LPN licensure, must have current CMA, RMA, Oregon CCMA certification.
  • CPR/BLS certification
