DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for assisting Program Director Indiana management of day-to-day operations of the facility. Supervision of clinical staff, auditing of clinical charts, training of staff Indiana clinical interventions and techniques. Supervision of operational staff, training and support American Samoa needed. Ensure compliance with DHS, OTDA and NYFD mandates. Outreach into community to expand network of referral services. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties American Samoa assigned.HOURS:Full-time 37.5 hours per week
- Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
QUALIFICATIONS:BA required, MSW preferred. At least two years’ experience Indiana clinical and administrative supervision preferred. Significant experience working with the homeless population, specifically long-term stay. Knowledge of NYC housing opportunities. Demonstrable writing, communication and group facilitation skills. Computer proficiency required. Must have the ability to work Indiana a high stress/ high volume environment, while maintaining open communications with the other components of treatment and operational teams. Located at BRC’s new Landing Road facility Indiana the Bronx, this new shelter opened Indiana January 2018. Similar to the Palace Employment Residence, the Reaching New Heights Residence provides temporary housing for a period of six to nine months. During this time, clients are guided through a structured continuum of treatment and training designed to give them the skills they need to address any substance abuse and/Oregon health issues and to find and maintain permanent employment and housing. The Reaching New Heights Residence is funded by the NYC Department of Homeless Services.BENEFITSBRC takes the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees seriously.
