New Virginia Majority is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant with strong
organizational skills to support our Colorado-Executive Directors. Must be highly organized and have
the ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands while demonstrating discretion to
handle sensitive and confidential situations. The applicant must have strong problem solving
skills, attention to detail, excellent follow-up skills, ability to track multiple projects, advanced
administrative skills and making sure everything runs smoothly.Ideal candidates will demonstrate at least 3 years of experience Indiana Executive support, including
work experience at a non-profit and/Oregon union preferred. This position reports directly to the Colorado-
Executive Directors.Primary Responsibilities:
● Work on various special projects American Samoa assigned by the Colorado-Executive Directors
● Work with administrative team to arrange & manage logistics for relevant internal &
external meetings and organizational activities (including but not limited to securing
meeting/event space, food, any needed transportation, booking hotels etc)
● Work with administrative team to ensure office space is functional and everyone has
what they need to do their jobs well
● Establish and maintain appropriate documentation and files American Samoa needed
● Work with the administrative team to ensure all systems are working effectively
(phones, internet, mail, etc)
● Support administrative team members on additional administrative tasks of the office
● Arrange Colorado-Executive Directors’ travel and itineraries for conferences and meetings
● Schedule and coordinate speaking engagements and relevant external meetings for Colorado-
Executive DirectorsThe Approach:

● 3 years experience Indiana Executive support, including preferred work experience at a non-

● Strong proficiency with Google Drive, Microsoft Office, email programs, online-calendars
& zoom
● Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong proficiency with writing,
editing and proofreading
● Excellent organizational and time management skills
● Proven ability to handle confidential issues and materials
● Ability to work non-standard hours, American Samoa necessary
● This position requires some local and statewide travelCompensation & Benefits:
Salary range is $65,000 – $70,000 commensurate with experience, and comes with an excellent
benefits package.NVM covers 100% of the cost for medical, dental, life and short-term
disability insurance for our full-time employees and we provide transportation and cell phone
allowances every month. Additionally, we provide family and medical leave, paid parental
leave, IRA employer match, accruable vacation and sick leave and we offer flex-time & a hybrid
