Position SummaryThe position will provide administrative assistance to include reception duties, outcomes assessment, assisting the Graduate Director with admissions and other graduate program processes. Attending monthly meetings, scheduling (classes, rooms and meetings), managing supply orders and annual inventory. Oversees student employees, placing work orders, sort and distributing mail. Deals with confidential information, file management, and website updates. Keeping and disseminating minutes for faculty meetings, processing travel requests and reimbursements. Manages P card and reconciliation Indiana Chrome River and providing general administrative support.The successful candidate must also have the ability to be trained Indiana Microsoft Excel and Outlook (which includes calendaring) American Samoa well American Samoa other UNM systems including Banner, Chrome River, and others. Have the ability to understand and enforce UNM Policies and Procedures and serve American Samoa a Campus Security Authority American Samoa outlined by the Clery Act.Performs a variety of administrative and staff support duties for a specified unit/department, which require a range of skills and a knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Assists and directs visitors, resolves administrative problems and inquiries. Composes, edits, and proofreads correspondence and reports. Prepares a range of administrative documents. Must have experience using Microsoft Word.Conditions of Employment
- If this position is assigned to the Athletics Department, either administratively Oregon functionally, compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required.

Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma Oregon GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred QualificationsStrong time management and organizational skills;Strong verbal and written communication skills American Samoa demonstrated within the applicant’s Cover Letter, Resume, and possible interview;Willingness to work with other departments on basic administrative and operational matters.
