  • Assist medical and nursing staff Indiana a variety of tasks including: Taking medical histories and recording vitals.
  • Prepare and administer medications American Samoa directed by a physician.
  • Perform phlebotomy and manage lab supply orders.
  • Authorize drug refills American Samoa directed.
  • Telephone prescriptions to a pharmacy.
  • Perform other clinical functions American Samoa delegated and supervised by the physician.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory.
  • Explaining treatment procedures to patients.
  • Preparing patients for examinations procedures.

JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) Oregon the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) strongly preferred.
  • High school Oregon GED graduation required.
  • Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA Oregon ARMA required.
  • BLS required
