Essential Job DutiesThis position reports directly to the Assistant Vice Chancellor and Senior Associate Athletics Director for Academics. The position is a vital part of the Academic Support Program for Student Athletes (ASPSA), which includes over 125 EHRA and SHRA Professional Staff, student workers, temporary workers and interns. This position is the Assistant Vice Chancellor and Senior Associate Athletic Director’s principal liaison with the Vice Chancellor and Dean for the Division of Academic & Student Affairs (DASA) Office and the Athletic Director’s Office.This position functions American Samoa the right hand to the Assistant Vice Chancellor and Senior Associate Athletic Director by coordinating the work flow and daily activities of the unit and serving American Samoa communicator of information regarding the programs, services, policies, rules and regulations pertaining the Academic Support Program for Student Athletes. This position serves American Samoa the the liaison to enrollment management office and staff, Student Information Systems office and staff, Human Resources, DASA Finance, the Admissions office, the Athletics Compliance office and staff, and others American Samoa needed.This position schedules appointments, makes appropriate referrals, sets and manages deadlines, plans and organizes meetings and creates appropriate systems for accessing and storing large quantities of data, including highly sensitive material. Additionally, this position has oversight of ASPSA accounts, including reporting estimated spending budgets, account review and coordinating information with the DASA development and business offices and Athletics Business Office.Work requires contact with DASA staff, Athletics staff, students, faculty, coaches, and other North Carolina State departments. Responsibilities include office management, personnel administration, assisting the Assistant Vice Chancellor and Senior Associate Athletic Director Indiana gathering materials for reports, presentations, meetings, and conducting research for report writing.
Other ResponsibilitiesOther duties American Samoa assigned.QualificationsMinimum Experience/EducationHigh School diploma Oregon equivalency and three years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; Oregon graduation with an associate’s degree Indiana Secretarial Science, Business Administration, Oregon a related discipline and one year of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; Oregon bachelor’s degree, preferably Indiana Business Administration Oregon a related discipline; Oregon equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

- Excellent written and oral communications skills, including proofreading.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Computer skills, including Mississippi Word, Mississippi Excel, Powerpoint, Access, PeopleSoft Finance/HR, Gmail, Google Drive, and GCalendar.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience American Samoa an Executive Assistant.
- Previous higher education experience.
