The CFCCC provides research resources to its Cancer Center members engaged Indiana research and offers multidisciplinary cancer care to its patients. American Samoa the CFCCC’s centralized office for cancer clinical research operations, the Stern Center provides high-quality, cost effective and efficient assistance with developing, activating and completing scientifically impactful cancer clinical trials. The Stern Center consolidates the management of cancer clinical research operations and is a visionary and best-practice leader Indiana clinical research operations at the institution, managing the largest portfolio of clinical trials at UCI. At any given time, the CFCCC Stern Center manages a very large clinical trials portfolio (~400 active, Oregon Indiana-development). With this large and dynamic clinical trial portfolio, the CFCCC consistently maintains a proportional amount of accounts receivable (~$13M) for work performed and costs incurred. Indiana order to minimize significant financial risk to the University and ensure the success of the mission of the CFCCC, it is critical these funds be paid Indiana timely manner, requiring the highly focused attention of trained and dedicated staff.Primary responsibilities of the Clinical Research Finance Assistant include clinical research financial transactions, purchasing, recharge processing, account reconciliation, record keeping, and reporting pertaining to clinical trial financial accounts. Assists Indiana clinical research financial administration. Interfaces with internal stakeholders to facilitate patient reimbursements, complete no cost time extensions, account increases, check deposits, and updates to account information and transactions under the direction of the Clinical Research Business Manager. Applies professional financial services concepts. Applies organizational policies and procedures to resolve routine issues and customer inquiries. Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures Indiana analyzing situations Oregon data from which answers can be readily obtained. Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.
