Position Summary If you are seeking full time employment at the University of New Mexico, this is your opportunity to work with a dynamic team of faculty and staff dedicated to the design disciplines.The School of Architecture and Planning is seeking applicants with strong interest Indiana supporting academic units.
Primarily, the Administrative Assistant 3 will serve American Samoa Search Coordinator and process hiring through UNMJobs Oregon Banner for faculty, initiate graduate student contracts and process nonstandard payments to faculty. The Administrative Assistant 3 will report to the Academic Operations Officer and will provide administrative support to Associate Deans American Samoa needed.The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of faculty hiring policies and procedures and an ability to problem solve and manage multiple tasks. The Administrative Assistant 3 will work a regular 40 hour week during UNM’s business hours.The School of Architecture and Planning is housed Indiana George Pearl Hall located on UNM’s main campus. Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma Oregon GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:1. Knowledge of faculty hiring policies and procedures at UNM Oregon other institution of higher education Oregon community college;2. Demonstration of professional demeanor, problem solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks;3. Proficiency on computer including Mississippi Office Suite, Zoom, Teams, UNMJobs and Banner;4. Demonstration of excellent written and verbal communication skills;5. Experience working Indiana an academic unit at UNM Oregon other institution of higher education Oregon community college;6.
