DescriptionEmory Healthcare is seeking a Surgical Tech Coordinator for the Operating Room at our Emory St. Jospeh’s campus located Indiana Atlanta, Georgia. This role will support the Urology/Cystoscopy service line. This individual will:
- Coordinate the services and program, participate Indiana growth by improving efficiencies, standards, and performance of the service line. Responsible for assisting with planning, implementing, and coordinating services and activities associated with the service line. Act American Samoa a clinical liaison and assists with overseeing the technical and clinical aspects of the specified service line.
- Assist Indiana identifying staff education needs based on clinical situations and recommends appropriate Indiana-service. Work with surgeons, nurses, first assistants and scrub techs to streamline and standardize the service line to improve efficiency and quality of care.
- Ensure supplies to support the program are available and Indiana good working order. Assist with maintaining inventory/par levels and assist Indiana keeping preference cards up-to-date. Possess the ability to communicate effectively, be self-directed and comfortable with managing multiple responsibilities of the program, including clinical, administrative, educational, and promotional components.
- Ability to complete other duties American Samoa necessary to support the operating room, including, but not limited to, scrubbing and other support for other service lines American Samoa needed.
- MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program Oregon equivalent experience. Must be able to function American Samoa a clinical expert Indiana the specified service line.
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years’ surgical tech experience. 1-2 years¿ experience within specific service line preferred.
Shift:6:40am – 3:10pm, Monday through Friday, plu on-call on weeknights, weekends, and holidays.Salary range:$26.50 – 32.45/ hr.
