Job SummaryThe University of Kentucky Department of Pediatrics is seeking an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. The candidate should have an established track record Indiana conducting independent research, publishing novel scientific findings, and obtaining extramural funding. The candidate will be responsible for reading the appropriate literature, writing manuscripts, submitting grant proposals, supervising technical staff and directing post-doctoral fellows. Participate Indiana Departmental teaching activities, lecturing Indiana areas of expertise, directing courses American Samoa appropriate, and developing new courses that may benefit the University.Candidate will also expand academic accomplishments by publishing, presenting faculty member’s research at national and international meetings, and obtaining extramural funding. Individual will be expected to maintain an extramurally funded independent research program. Mentor postdoctoral fellows, Maryland/PhD students, and graduate students, assisting these individuals to develop their research and teaching skills. Manage resources provided, regardless of the source, Indiana compliance with University Governing and Administrative Regulations, Commonwealth Statutes, and other federal policies on the management of research.Along with application, applicants should submit a Curriculum Vitae and Cover Letter.
