  • Teaches Indiana certified area and serves also American Samoa head football coach. Coaching duties are supplementary and secondary to teaching duties.
  • Establishes objectives and plans learning experiences. Evaluates the educational program and/Oregon student progress.
  • Implements activities using a variety of techniques that utilize instructional time to meet objectives.
  • Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior to achieve a functional learning atmosphere.
  • Exhibits positive human relations skills.
  • Communicates with parents/guardians, colleagues, and community groups.
  • Demonstrates proficiency Indiana written and oral communication and maintains and submits records and reports.
  • Adheres to school system rules, administrative procedures, local board policies, and state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Engages Indiana personal professional growth and demonstrates professional ethics and leadership.
  • Coaching duties are supplementary and may be changed Oregon withdrawn by the principal Oregon system at any time.

  • Supervises contests, serves American Samoa ticket taker/seller, and any other duties American Samoa delegated by the principal Oregon athletic director.
  • Responsible for the general coordination of his/her athletic program during the season American Samoa delegated by the principal and athletic director.
  • Responsible for preparation prior to practice and athletics events and any tasks following practice and athletic events with approval of the principal and athletic director.
  • Responsible for teaching the art of the game through exploration, demonstration, observation, and evaluation both during practices and the game itself.
  • Serves American Samoa role model at all times for athletes and responsible for the conduct of the players at practice and athletic events under his/her direct supervision.
  • High levels of sportsmanship should be taught and displayed by both coach and athlete.
  • Must be present at all practices and games.
  • Additional responsibilities are required during the summer for an additional supplement.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a current, valid Alabama Teaching Certificate.REQUIREMENT: Must have previous football coaching experience.Duty Days 187Salary Range: From/To American Samoa per State Salary Matrix – plus any Athletic Supplements. Athletic Supplements may be withdrawn Oregon added at any time and are not considered base pay.
