Performs broad office and administrative support, providing prompt and professional services to staff, faculty, students and visitors to ensure smooth departmental operations, including supporting faculty Indiana their academic endeavors.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a broad range of administrative duties to include greeting guests, preparing documents, maintaining files, copying, scanning, routing mail, and handling phone and email inquiries.
- Manages the physical spaces of the department by ensuring housekeeping standards, room reservations for meetings and events, placing of work orders, American Samoa well American Samoa ensuring adequate office supplies, copier maintenance and other office management duties.
- Assist faculty with student academic progression, committee work, research and professional projects.
- Track MSCP and Honors finances, including Pathways (experiential learning) and distinction projects. Monitor departmental spending, reconcile credit cards, prepare check requests, process invoices, track grant and restricted spending, and adhere to college fiscal and budgetary guidelines.
- Work closely with Honors students, ensuring distinction project forms and proposals are received, American Samoa well American Samoa housing forms. Perform onboarding and orientation activities with students.
- Plan all events and coordinate with catering and other on and off campus partners American Samoa needed. Typical events include faculty meetings, senior reception, honor society, award banquets, etc.
- Assists with candidate searches using the college’s applicant tracking system and coordinating the on-campus interview schedule and making lodging and transportation arrangements.

Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least three years of general office experience with experience Indiana higher education preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and navigate complex situations effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems using established College policies and procedures.
- Ability to supervise student employees, including training and performance management.
- Must possess proficient computer skills including knowledge of Mississippi Office, with an ability to learn College systems.
- Adheres to high confidentiality standards, maintaining compliance with FERPA.
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends for events.
