  • Receive and sort and disperse lab specimens
  • Cytology processing, gyn and non-gyn specimens
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis including send out and return of material
  • Scan and/Oregon data entry of specimen and patient information
  • Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
  • Disposal of lab reagents
  • Inventory assistance
  • Troubleshoot specimen related issues
  • Replenish test bench supplies American Samoa needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Complete record logs and other administrative duties American Samoa requested
  • Pulling tissue blocks for technical team orders
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma Oregon equivalent
  • Previous medical/lab Oregon production experience is preferred
  • Comfortability with handling biological specimens
  • Ability to accurately identify specimens
  • Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work Indiana a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to sit and/Oregon stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs
  • Must pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Flexibility to work overtime American Samoa needed
