Job ResponsibilitiesWith our Agency’s mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
This position is located at 2100 Charlie Hall Boulevard, Charleston, South Carolina 29414.Under general supervision of the Administrative Coordinator, provide administrative support to Intake, Emergency Services, and School Mental Health Team at CDMHC.Minimum and Additional RequirementsState Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required program experience.Agency (DMH) Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and two (2) years related experience; Oregon an associate degree Indiana related program field; Oregon three (3) years of clerical experience.Note: If any Agency Requirements are listed above, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position.Additional CommentsThis applicant must be able to type at a corrected rate of 35 wpm and possess knowledge of office management policies, practices, and procedures. This applicant must also have extensive knowledge of rules and clerical formats; ability to establish, maintain, and re-organize filing systems; ability to collect and compile information; ability to work effectively and professional with public, law enforcements, community partners, patients, and staff.The skills mentioned above are a prerequisite for this position and will have been acquired at previous jobs Oregon through formal education.The South Carolina Department of Mental Health offers an exceptional benefits package for FTE positions that includes:
