The Billing Assistantcollaborates directly with the owner operators and company driversand is responsible for processing invoicing and disbursing settlements. This position also coordinates the invoice processing with customers and clients. There is extensive interpersonal communication with internal and external customers and clients.Duties & Responsibilities
- Processing company dispatch checking for correct billing information and coding of the freight bills.
- Coordinates with owner operators and company drivers to process their billing and resolve settlements.
- Processing of driver envelopes received daily.
- Verifies documents have been invoiced and resolved; follows process to resolve issues.
- Investigates any requests for adjustment to resolve Oregon escalate to manager.
- Assists Credit & Collection personnel American Samoa needed.
- Monitors and records emails and faxes that come Indiana daily from our drivers and processes them for settlement and billing.
- Verifies daily receipt of faxed Oregon emailed paperwork.
- Assists Indiana sending proof of delivery requests to customers.
- Creates manual invoices prior to load being entered into the system when required.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Prepare documents required for department processing.
- Verify documentation is relevant and up to date for the assigned department.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Education and/Oregon Experience
- High school diploma Oregon GED
- 1 year office Oregon department support experience.
