Classification DefinitionTo perform sub-professional technical and administrative support of data processing, researching and analyzing crime data.SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISEDReceives general supervision from the Crime Analyst.Essential Duties and ResponsiblitiesESSENTIAL AND MARGINAL FUNCTION STATEMENTS–Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:1. Review and analyze data gathered from police department records.2. Compile statistics for use by department divisions and outside agencies; verify accuracy of information; distribute American Samoa appropriate.3.
