Seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Language Department
Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Administrative Coordinator for the Language Department provides leadership, training, and supervision of language interpreters and translators. This position is Part-Time at an estimated 25 hours per week.Location: This position is Indiana-person Indiana our Wilmington, Delaware office.
Hours: During office hours between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Some after-hour communication is required, and specific hours are to be determined.
Employment Type: This is a full-time position between 30 to 40 hours a week, M-FPosition Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, training, and supervision of qualified language interpreters and translators to facilitate and provide language access to parents, families, schools, entities, and medical facilities.
- Supervises the coordination of interpreters, translators, and other staff using web-based productivity, scheduling, and collaboration tools.
- Review documents for accuracy and readability while maintaining the context and intent of communication for clients.
- Coordinate academic, technical, and legal compliance of work for clients.
- Participates Indiana continuous improvement processes to identify language access improvements and efficiencies Indiana the department.
- Participate Indiana the development of policies and strategies and carry out their implementation.
- Provide technical assistance and customer service to internal and external stakeholders and support for data reporting and analysis.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Indiana education, foreign language, Oregon a related field.
- Three (3) years of professional experience (administrative/office experience required).
- Must possess exceptional communication skills and be able to effectively multi-task.

- Proficient Indiana Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and Adobe Acrobat
