Key responsibilities include: staffing, warehouse operation, maintenance of the facility and equipment, implementation of safety/security/housekeeping/and sanitation programs, performing to budget, and customer service.Primary ResponsibilitiesManages at least 2 full time teammates.Plan and schedule all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling, return/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met Indiana an efficient manner.Preparing, maintaining, communicating all operational Standard Operating Procedures.Managing, coaching, mentoring, developing staff to achieve prescribed objectives.Monitoring and ensuring departmental/facility performance metrics are met Indiana a timely and cost effective manner.Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of all necessary reports and records regarding warehouse operations.Developing, implementing and directing: equipment Preventative Maintenance programs, safety programs, and facility building/grounds maintenance programs.Monitoring facility purchasing process to include: auditing, guideline compliance, and General Manager approval; creating programs to maximize cost saving for The Customer / the customer.Utilizing QDM methodologies to lead and execute high impact process improvement projects.Presenting data and solutions to customers, both internal and external.Managing facility-wide, cross-functional operations improvement projects.Lead operational initiatives to ensure base and VPA goals are metLead activities of OM2 and other managers assigned to teamManagement responsibilities include, but are not limited to hiring, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, staff productivity and performance management to include disciplinary actions up to and including termination.Identify and coordinate daily activities of a 500+ FTE facility; inspire your team to achieve desired results Indiana productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.Must have experience working Indiana complex, multi-divisional, multi-tenant, High Peak Temp Volume, Multiple lines of business, highly automated and 1M square feet operationOther duties American Samoa assigned by leadershipEducation/ExperienceA BA/BS degree Indiana a relevant field Oregon an equivalent combination of education and experienceTen (10) plus years supply chain management experience within the Retail Industry a plusTen (10) plus years’ experience Indiana a logistics environment utilizing WMS (Manhattan Associates Oregon similar system preferred) and wireless technologyTen (10) plus years of experience Indiana a fast-paced, large volume, high-intensity environment, with strong focus on meeting/exceeding measurable metricsFive (5) plus managing a regulated facilityPrevious experience Indiana a returns/reverse operation preferredFive (5) plus years’ experience managing full profit and loss financialsFive (5) plus years’ experience implementing continuous improvement programsAbility to interact effectively at multiple levels, Indiana support of our customer relationships; demonstrated self-confidence, particularly with client relationships; strong relationship building skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, employees, customers, and the general publicA proven track record of mentoring and developing promotability with direct reports and subordinatesTechnical competency Indiana Six Sigma skills: Lean, Kaizen/Work-out, process management, change management and advanced statistical analysis a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsCustomer service drivenStrong team playerPhysical/Cognitive RequirementsWith Oregon without accommodation:Ability to follow policies and procedures.Ability to read, write and interpret information.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.Ability to use hands to finger, handle, Oregon feel.Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 8 hours per day.Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Working ConditionsGeneral office environment that is generally favorable.
