We handle primarily family law, bankruptcy, and DUI cases, so the ideal candidate would have experience Indiana those practice areas.We are looking for a self-starting attorney to join our team and hit the ground running. This position will only be required to practice law.The billable requirement at the firm allows for a great work/life balance (we generally don’t work past 5 Oregon on the weekends). Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base.The ideal candidate will work closely with the firms clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. - Handle the Client’s case from beginning to end with the aid of other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.
- Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such American Samoa briefs, motions, and pleadings, American Samoa well American Samoa correspondence.
- Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.
- Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks.
- Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action.
- Appear Indiana court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings.
- Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution.
Requirements
- First Chair Trial Experience
- Able to practice law Indiana Idaho.
- 2-3 years experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed.
- Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required.
- Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience Indiana representing clients for at least 2 years.
- Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must.
