- Front-line point of contact for the Department of Psychology & Sociology. Answers calls to the department and greets students and visitors to the department.
- Schedule meetings and maintain calendars for the department chair and the shared conference room.
- Prepare department course schedules Indiana Banner and process reports from Argos.
- Create Workday documents for the hiring of student workers, graders, research assistants, graduate assistants, and adjuncts.
- Confirm faculty textbook adoptions. Receive and review all faculty syllabi for submission to the Dean’s office.
- Hire, train, evaluate and supervise department student worker.
- Maintain the records and activities for faculty searches.
- Assist with departmental fiscal activities, such American Samoa purchasing, Pcard, and reconciling accounts using advanced spreadsheets and/Oregon databases. Order office supplies. Keep department chair informed and updated on account activity and balances.
- Arrange and/Oregon assist departmental travel (faculty, student, incoming guests) using Concur. Schedule all travel, car rentals, hotels, conference registration Oregon other travel needs for office personnel. Prepare travel requests and expense reports.
- Create reports American Samoa needed from Digital Measures for Department Chair and Dean’s Office.
- Assist faculty and department chair with organizing special events. Assist with coordination of purchasing, ordering food, campus announcement, invitations and registration for each event.
- Assist Indiana the preparation and processing of catalog and course description revisions.
- Assists the Graduate Coordinator Indiana compiling and organizing documents such American Samoa application files, practicum logs, oral exam reports, etc.
- Other duties American Samoa assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- High School Diploma.
- Four (4) years administrative support experience.
- Intermediate skills Indiana Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Experience Indiana Banner, Argos, Ad-Astra, IslanderBuy, Laserfische, and Workday
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Listens intently and gets clarification where needed. Positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize while working independently and efficiently with minimal supervision (self motivated). Ability to work Indiana fast paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
WHAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO SEE:
- Two (2) years office management experience.
- Skills Indiana Publisher (Oregon other desktop publishing software) and Adobe.
- University experience.
SALARY:
- $17.00/ Hourly
