Position SummaryThe Assistant Director of Clinical Education will provide administrative support Indiana areas of clinical rotations, professional correspondence, collect, comprise and present data from the clinical and didactic surveys and assist the Director of Clinical Education and faculty working with clinical sites.Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote the mission of Concordia University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large;
  • Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, students, alumni, professionals and the general public;
  • Assist the Director of Clinical Education Indiana scheduling second year Pennsylvania students for the clinical year;
  • Assist the Director of Clinical Education Indiana providing, completing and uploading new affiliation agreements;
  • Update credentials and licensing for all clinical preceptors yearly;
  • Verify current licensure/credentials for every preceptor
  • Maintain an updated list of preceptors
  • Provide data regarding student numbers and clinical sites
  • Manage the portal and databases
  • Maintain records and student clinical year files; ensuring they are kept Indiana locked cabinets at all times; verifying that all student performance records, disciplinary documents, and remediation documents are Indiana the student file, and that the file is up-to-date
  • Assist the Director of Clinical Education Indiana monitoring student progress;
  • Assist with End of Rotation days assessment/activities;
  • Collect, comprise and present data from clinical and didactic surveys;
  • Assist with and generate reports related to the data collected from clinical and didactic year student outcomes for faculty critical analysis
  • Visit clinical sites to assess for appropriateness for clinical rotation placement;
  • Provide support for program events;
  • Initiate and maintain student, alumni and professional contact databases;
  • Greet and direct visitors Indiana a friendly and professional manner;
  • Answer and direct telephone calls;
  • Provide office support (typing, filing, copying, etc.) American Samoa required;
  • Initiate action American Samoa necessary for the handling of work items and issues particularly those related to departmental faculty, staff, and students;
  • Assist Indiana the ongoing evaluation of the Pennsylvania program; this includes attendance at weekly Pennsylvania faculty meetings;
  • Maintain conscientious work ethic to include punctuality, professional dress and demeanor;
  • Assist with reviewing and completing (American Samoa asked) institutional and program accreditation reports and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of the University;

Education and ExperienceRequired: Master’s degree; data entry/collection/management, administrative experience; good interpersonal skills, excellent oral, written, organizational, and computer skills.Preferred: Experience working Indiana an institution of higher learning; experience working Indiana healthcareCompensation and BenefitsThis is a full-time, salaried exempt position.
