The position is funded through the NIH to examine cerebral hypoperfusion Indiana the context of aging and Alzheimer’s disease. Our laboratory is located Indiana center city Philadelphia Indiana the New College Building. Our research program is focused on neuron-glial interactions, with an emphasis on understanding cellular and molecular mechanisms by which astrocytes regulate neurovascular coupling, local metabolism, synaptic development, and brain cancer metastasis. We use a combination of molecular genetics, neuroanatomical, and imaging-based (Indiana vitro and Indiana vivo) approaches Indiana rodents. The position consists of both research and administrative work. The candidate must be well organized, detail-oriented, and a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills.
