This part-time position will be located Indiana Ann Arbor, Michigan. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree Indiana a related field and be confirmed enrollees Indiana a Concordia University graduate education program Indiana good academic standing.Concordia is a Christian university affiliated with the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod. The Volleyball Graduate Assistant Coach position provides leadership and assists Indiana the overall coaching, management and administration of the women’s volleyball program. This person will also serve American Samoa the Head Coach of the reserve team. This position covers partial tuition for a Masters Degree program and a small stipend.This position can be a one-year Oregon two-year position, depending on the graduate degree program they select from Concordia University.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-Program Organization and Administration
- Assist with planning and implementing day-to- day operations with the volleyball program.
- Academic monitoring and communication
- Mentoring student-athletes Indiana spiritual and personal growth
- Assist with travel plans and meals
- Build and improve upon alumni & fundraising opportunities.
-Recruitment of Student-Athletes
- Coordinate with the head coach on recruitment of qualified student-athletes
- Attend showcase/tournament games Indiana order to search, contact, and build relationships with future student-athletes.
- Consistent contact with recruits and facilitate recruit campus visits
-Opponent Scouting
- Prepare & present scouting reports using Hudl
-On-Court Coaching & Workouts Facilitation
- Leading individual skill instruction groups
- Leading and assisting with practice segments
- Monitor development of players and instruct ways for improvement
-Administrative/ Other
- Additional duties include assisting with summer camps,
- Attend Volleyball and/Oregon Athletic Department Functions including, but not limited to, meetings, chapel, game ops, etc.
- Perform all duties American Samoa assigned by the Head Coach and/Oregon Director of Athletics.
-Oversight of Reserve Team
- Responsible for the Reserve team including but not limited to, preparing practice plans, conducting practices, overseeing the growth and development of the team, arranging transportation for away contests, arranging student workers and officials for home contests, scheduling games.
-Adhere to NAIA and WHAC-Other duties American Samoa assignedKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Demonstrates effective leadership, organizational skills, and is a self-starter
- Exhibits a willingness and ability to work with diverse individuals and organizations

- All candidates should possess an ability to meet deadlines
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana a related field required
- Enrollment Indiana a Concordia University graduate education program required
- Prior relevant work Oregon internship experience within the sport
