Develops, implements and updates Autopsy Service Procedure Manual and the Autopsy/Morgue service portion of the Nursing Manual. Performs gross description and dissection of surgical specimens. Obtains tissues for special studies such American Samoa chromosomal analysis, flow cytometry and molecular biology. Assures JCAHO compliance for Histology and the Morgue. Obtains x-rays of surgical specimens when required. Assists Pathologists and Histology supervisor with other duties American Samoa required.
