To learn more, visit .JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Housing Operations Coordinator reports to the Director for Housing Operations and assists with the overall management of the department’s housing operations and assignments functions, access control, and student billing and other special projects that play an important role Indiana the satisfaction of our students experience Indiana our residential communities. The Housing Operations Coordinator contributes to the housing operational workflows, processes, and procedures for the health, well-being, and success of CSU residential students.JOB DESCRIPTIONHousing Operations:
- Assist the Director for Housing Operations with the oversight of the department’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient systems are Indiana place to meet professional standards for timely and sensitive response to students’, families’, and CSU community members’ questions, concerns, and requests for information regarding policies, housing assignments, access control, student conflicts and general assistance.
- Assist with the oversight of the efficient and effective coordination of university-wide residential community openings and closings to include collaboration with offices on early arrivals and needed housing during breaks (e.g., Athletics, Admissions, Access Control, Auxiliary Services, Campus Support Services, and the division of Campus Engagement, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).
- Oversee Central Office operations and provide administrative support to all professional staff.
- Assist with all major operations projects, including, but not limited to, returning student housing selection, mid-year housing assignments, and first year placements.
- Assess charges to students’ accounts through THD for room change adjustments and miscellaneous charges Indiana conjunction with the Director for Housing Operations.
- Assist with all summer housing assignments, room changes, cancellations, and transitions.
- Assist with all early arrival and contract extension processes under the direction of the Director for Housing Operations.
- Assist with all pending assignment list and wait list assignment processes, including supporting the Residential Education staff Indiana the day-to-day room change process.
- Manage departmental access control processes including Aurora access and key and key code management under the direction of the Director for Housing Operations and the Director for Residential Facilities.
- Oversee the preparation of new resident key and welcome packets at the start of and throughout the year.
- Manage the Room Condition Report (RCR) process by working with the Residential Education staff to ensure that RCRs are completed throughout the year, during opening, room changes, and mid-year arrivals.
- Generate administrative reports, evaluate assessment data, and conduct housing research American Samoa needed.
- Assist with departmental marketing and outreach efforts, including but not limited to, participating Indiana University recruitment efforts, housing tour management, and model room management.
- Provide support to the Assistant Director for Finance and Administration for all invoicing and accounts payable operation.
- Oversee the Mail Distribution Operations for the residential communities.
- Oversee the Desk Operations for the residential community desks and supervise all Desk Assistants and desk staff.
- Lead and/Oregon assist Indiana special projects that effect the success of the department, including, but not limited to: Summer Conference Coordination, Summer Intern Housing, Living-Learning Community communication, Athletics housing, and more.
Staff Supervision:
- Recruit, train, and directly supervise the student Office Assistants, Desk Assistants, Mail Distribution Assistants (American Samoa applicable).
- Indirectly support and provide guidance to professional live-Indiana Community Directors, particularly related to housing operations and assignments management responsibilities Indiana conjunction with the Director for Housing Operations.
- Provide and support staff recognition initiatives and promote professional development opportunities.
Student Support:
- Advise students and family members Indiana decision-making and provide resource referrals to help support student success and well-being.
- Provide and support student recognition initiatives and promote leadership opportunities.
- Provide timely and sensitive response, outreach, and relationship building for students of concern American Samoa needed.
Department and Divisional Leadership:
- Be accessible, visible, and present for relevant/occasional university speakers and athletics events; attend staff/student-planned community development activities and educational events American Samoa appropriate.
- Assist Indiana leading task forces, presenting training topics, and executing departmental and CSU projects American Samoa needed.
- Represent the department Indiana new student recruitment and orientation events.

Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree Indiana business management, communications, Oregon other relevant field.
- Experience Indiana a residence life and/Oregon property management setting.
- Experience using a housing Oregon property management system.
- Demonstrated experience developing, mentoring, and motivating a diverse professional staff team.
- Demonstrated experience building collaborative partnerships with faculty, administrators, students, parents/families, and campus and/Oregon business partners.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, American Samoa a leader, and a collaborative member of a team.
- Sensitive, diplomatic, detail-oriented, and articulate written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to implement problem solving strategies to manage everyday residential challenges such American Samoa crisis response, conflict management, community development, and student/family concerns Indiana a fast-paced environment.

- Corporate Positions: Indiana addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate Indiana an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
