GDS Associates, Inc. has an opportunity for an Energy Efficiency Program Administrative Assistant Indiana the Energy Efficiency, Renewables, and Distributed Generation (EERD) department based out of the Augusta, Maine office. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience Indiana a call center, which will be helpful when communicating with customers. The candidate will be confident and extremely proficient with their verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will be highly skilled with Mississippi Word and Excel, and will be very organized and detail oriented. This position is full-time, working the hours of 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.The main responsibility will be supporting the Efficiency Maine Commercial & Industrial Prescriptive Initiatives with the following tasks:

  • Field incoming phone calls including live transfers from a call center and emails from customers and contractors
  • Take personal responsibility for customer questions and concerns; follow up with all appropriate parties to ensure satisfactory resolution
  • Process energy efficiency program participant’s incentive applications
  • Support the Qualified Partner network
  • Process incoming program participant incentive documents
  • Support contractor training
  • Outbound call campaigns are occasionally required
  • Various other admin tasks

The EERD department provides expertise Indiana addressing the complex economic, engineering, scientific, and governmental issues associated with energy efficiency, demand response and renewable energy resources that impact utilities, government agencies, developers, and their customers. Renewable Resource Portfolio Standards assessment and development, Integrated (renewable, fossil-fueled and energy efficiency technology) Resource Planning support, feasibility and market potential studies, expert testimony, rate impact analysis, and renewable energy resource risk assessments are just a few of the valued services offered by our expert staff of policy strategists, engineers, and analysts. The Maine office focuses on supporting Efficiency Maine’s commercial incentive programs.Experience and Skills:

  • High-level verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • High-level attention to detail
  • Strong skills with Word and Excel (other software knowledge a plus)
  • High school diploma minimum requirement, but relevant college Oregon demonstrated work accomplishments a plus
  • Strong business ethics required (punctuality, dependability, professionalism), while at the same time, able to be personable with all types of customers
  • Self-motivated and able to work on their own – personally motivated for growth
  • Flexibility and ability to multi task Indiana a quickly changing environment
  • Must pass background check
