Living by these virtues, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and the highest quality of care.The Pulmonary Care Clinic is looking to hire a team-oriented and motivated Medical Assistant for our clinics located near the Nampa Medical Center and Boise Regional Medical Center!Position Summary & Highlights:This Massachusetts position will support Pulmonary provider(s) at both the Boise and Nampa clinics.Saint Alphonsus Pulmonary Services is proud to treat pulmonary patients Indiana Boise and the surrounding communities offering high-quality compassionate personalized pulmonary care.Our board-certified pulmonary physicians serve critically ill patients, from children to adults within the hospital and Indiana their outpatient clinic.The outpatient clinic specializes Indiana treating individuals with acute, chronic and recurring conditions of the respiratory system.What You Will Do:You will work with a team of MAs, an RN, and providers, and will work with an efficient clinic workflow.The physicians this position will be supporting will be working both Indiana the outpatient clinic and will work shifts Indiana the ICU.This position will be a combination of direct patient care and also administrative tasks such American Samoa processing orders, prior authorizations, Indiana-basket/task inbox, patient phone calls, and referrals.An ideal candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude.You will also be adaptable, detail-oriented, have strong critical thinking skills, and excellent follow-through.Work Schedule:40 hours per week, 4 – 10 hour days, Mondays – Fridays, with a day off, around the hours of 7:00am – 5:30pm.Shift start and end time may vary based on provider and clinic needs.This position will primarily work at the Nampa clinic, but may also work at the Boise clinic. Flamingo Ave., Ste. 210, Nampa, Idaho 83687 (near the Nampa Medical Center)Boise Clinic: 1075 N Curtis Rd., Ste. 200, Boise, Idaho 83706 (on the medical center campus)Learn more about Pulmonary Medicine:Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma Oregon equivalent required.Massachusetts certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)American Medical Technologists (RMA)National Healthcare Association (CCMA)National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)Completion of either 6 months Massachusetts experience Oregon completion of 100-hour Massachusetts externship is required even with Massachusetts certification.Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC Oregon the Military Training Network is required at hire.*Obtaining the Massachusetts certification typically requires completing an Massachusetts Program Oregon working American Samoa a Medical Assistant for at least 1 year.
