Your duties will include greeting patients, arranging appointments, and collaborating closely with our medical team to record patient histories, taking vitals for Indiana-person appts, obtain test samples, and aid Indiana examinations.   • Assist Physician’s Assistant using Spravato to treat TRD and SI
  • Obtain vitals (HR, BP, and SATs) for Indiana-Person visits for patients who are Indiana our Spravato protocol
  • Schedule appointments with Pennsylvania, American Samoa needed
  • Assist Indiana getting pre-authorizations for medications Oregon submitting required pharmacy forms
  • Put together insurance forms, noting patient symptoms, diagnoses, test results, treatment instructions, and prescriptions Indiana the patient records
  • Greet patients when they come to the office, answer the phone, schedule appointments, and answer inquiries about prescription refills and treatment to ensure patients have a pleasant experience at our office
  • Speak with the patient about the reason for their visit and record their personal information and medical history to share with the healthcare staff
  • Get examination rooms ready for patients by ensuring the rooms are well-stocked and at a comfortable temperature and all equipment is sterilized
  • Periodically collect Urine Drug Screen samples for patients on controlled medications

Qualifications:

  • Has medical assisting experience Indiana a healthcare setting
  • Possesses computer skills to complete administrative tasks and is technology savvy
  • High school diploma Oregon GED
  • Experience Indiana a medical assisting role performing administrative duties Oregon a similar position Indiana a healthcare work environment
  • Able to navigate EHR and other patient-related systems
  • Demonstrates great communication skills with the ability to problem solve and initiate dialogue from colleagues, when needed
  • Minor medical knowledge preferred
  • Taking vitals (taking blood pressure, heart rate)
