Electrical Consultants, Inc., (ECI) a leading power engineering consultant firm, has an immediate opening for an administrative assistant Indiana Portland, Oregon. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day overall support functions for a regional office of approximately 35 employees. ECI specializes Indiana engineering services to electric utilities, and renewable energy systems, communication, oil/gas, mining and heavy industry. Under general supervision, this position will report directly to the General Manager while providing a combination of administrative, receptionist, and event coordination duties.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Communicating, coordinating, and following up with office and corporate staff members on all requests.
  • Maintain Monthly Office budgets.
  • Manage credit card receipts.
  • Project and marketing support including, copying, printing, scanning, filing, assembling of books, reports, and drawing sets.
  • Coordinating with corporate accounting department on expense and timesheet submittals and invoice reviews.
  • Monitoring and screening incoming phone calls and greeting Indiana-person visitors.
  • Event planning and overall preparation of company events (Summer Picnic, Holiday Party…etc)
  • Scheduling interviews, meetings with vendors, staff meetings, and overseeing and assisting with the preparation of common areas for activities Oregon meetings.
  • Cultivating an exciting and rewarding office culture for all staff.
  • Monitoring office supply inventory and order American Samoa needed.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Other tasks American Samoa directed.

Minimum Requirements: Associate’s degree and 2+ years of related experience Oregon high school diploma and 4+ years of related experience required. Strong skills Indiana Mississippi Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) required; experience with PDF software (Adobe Oregon Bluebeam) desired; Proven effective verbal and written communication skills, proven excellent level of interpersonal skills, ability to work individually and on a team, ability to work with confidential information, and attention to detail required. Successful applicant must be accurate at typing and have strong word processing skills. The ability to track multiple activities and pay close attention to detail and final work product quality are important. The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving is required; therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements.
