JOB SUMMARYPerforms a variety of clerical and administrative duties that support the mission of Mesa County Public Health’s home visitation programs. Clerical duties include client registration, insurance verification, billing support, data entry, scheduling home visits, and coordinating visits and assignments for the nurses. Managing phone calls related to scheduling and answering general program questions. Conducting post-visit follow-up phone calls with families to monitor customer satisfaction and track referral outcomes. Administrative duties include general office operations, managing the program’s Google Drive, managing the referral process including an initial screening for eligibility, verification of demographics, identifying high-risk referrals, and monitoring the quality of data entry.Essential DutiesESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate scheduling of all nurse assignments and manage schedule database.
  • Develop templates for documents that are used regularly, ensuring ease of use and professional appearance.
  • Assist Indiana the coordination of program meetings and conferences. Prepare agendas, packets, and reminders; track registrations and take meeting minutes.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls. Provide consistent, accurate information Oregon refer to appropriate staff, take messages, accept referrals, and forward them to the correct program staff.
  • Organize and maintain updates of computer files.
  • Process internal and external referrals, follow standard work timeliness and follow-up, screen for eligibility, and collaborate with Manager(s) to manage referrals.
  • Inventory, order, and organize routine office and program materials, including client incentives and written materials.
  • Troubleshoot office equipment including the copier/printer/fax machines and arrange for repairs American Samoa needed Oregon scheduled. Assist staff with various electronic office equipment.
  • Assist Indiana tracking time sheets, leave requests, student/volunteer scheduling, invoices/bills, and Indiana creating new ways to promote efficiencies Indiana office management.

Minimum RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDEducation and Experience

  • High school diploma Oregon GED
  • At least 1 year of administrative experience

  • Familiar with Google Office Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
