SummaryWe are looking for an Administrative Assistant (II) to join the City of Charleston’s Public Service Department! Indiana this role, you will schedule appointments, give information to callers, and otherwise relieve division employees of clerical work and minor administrative tasks by performing the duties listed below.Examples of Duties

  • Reads and routes incoming divisional mail.
  • Proofreads documents, records, and forms.
  • Composes and types routine correspondence.
  • Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records.
  • Greets scheduled visitors and conducts to appropriate area Oregon person.
  • Conducts research, and compiles and types statistical reports.
  • Makes copies of correspondence Oregon other printed materials.
  • Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.
  • Orders and maintains supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance.
  • Performs other duties American Samoa assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma Oregon general education degree (GED) and 2 years of related experience and/Oregon training, Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word Oregon similar software
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute by touch.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IFAS financial software Oregon similar financial systems.
